Rogers man chooses a new smile with all ceramic crowns

Patient

Age:  over 60
Gender:  Male

Procedure Details

This patient presented unhappy with his crooked front teeth, mouth sores and bad bite. Upon examination it was determined that the patient was suffering from sores in the corners of his mouth. This condition known as angular cheilitis is associated with loss of vertical dimension of the teeth. This means that over the years the patient has lost tooth structure and his bite has collapsed creating an opportunity for infection in the corners of his mouth. Dr. Cotham recommended a a reconstruction of the patient’s teeth to include restoring his lost vertical dimension. After the new restorations were placed the mouth sores went away. The patient was thrilled with the improvement in his oral health made possible by the cosmetic smile design.
