Teeth Whitening Overview

Although you may like tea, coffee, berries, tomatoes, or tobacco, these are a few of the biggest sources of teeth discoloration and stains. This is why All About Smiles offers an effective solution if you would like to enhance your teeth with Zoom whitening procedures in Rogers, AR. As a popular method of professional teeth whitening, Dr. Brett Cotham is pleased to perform both Zoom WhiteSpeed and QuickPro. Depending on your concerns, available time, and budget, we can help you decide on the Zoom treatment that is ideal for you. To maintain or enhance your in-office procedure, Dr. Cotham also provides Zoom at-home whitening treatments.

Best Candidates for Teeth Whitening

Your procedure at All About Smiles will be personalized so you can achieve your desired results. For quick results, QuickPro is designed to remove surface stains caused by foods, beverages, and tobacco products. WhiteSpeed also treats surface enamel stains, but it can also treat discoloration caused by aging and certain medications. At your initial consultation, Dr. Cotham will examine your teeth's condition and explain which method best fits your needs and goals. You may also need home whitening kits: Zoom DayWhite or NiteWhite. At-home treatment may be performed either on its own or following your in-office Zoom procedure to enhance and refresh your outcomes.

What To Expect from Teeth Whitening

If you want WhiteSpeed or QuickPro, you can plan your treatment so that it follows your cleaning at All About Smiles. This will eliminate tartar and plaque so the whitening treatment application is even on your teeth. After your teeth are clean and dry, your mouth will be covered before the process starts. For QuickPro, every tooth is painted with a whitening varnish and then covered with a sealant for protection. As soon as your teeth have been evenly coated, you can leave our office. After about 30 minutes, you can remove the varnish by brushing your teeth.

For WhiteSpeed, a whitening gel will be painted on your teeth. After your teeth are covered, a light will activate the stain removal treatment. These steps will be done three times in the course of around 45 minutes. Any remaining gel will be cleaned off of your enamel before a final gel is used to reduce sensitivity and fortify your teeth.

Teeth Whitening Follow-Up

Dr. Cotham can discuss post-treatment and teach you how to take care of your teeth following your Zoom procedure. The best way to sustain your results is to follow a good oral care routine at home with regular flossing, brushing, and mouthwash rinsing. Bi-annual cleanings at All About Smiles can also help to brighten your teeth and keep your mouth clean. You should also skip staining foods, drinks, and tobacco products if you'd like your teeth to stay white. You may boost your results with Zoom home kits and schedule another professional treatment in our office as needed.

Teeth Whitening Insurance Coverage

Teeth whitening is an elective procedure so it's typically not covered by your insurance. At your initial consultation with All About Smiles, we can discuss your choices and help you decide on the method that matches your goals and budget. We will also discuss the payment methods we take and low-interest medical financing to make your procedure affordable.
